Doug has an extensive background in the building and selling of the residential home market. He brings with him 18 years of experience and he is a licensed broker in both Florida and North Carolina. Doug has handled almost all aspects of the residential home market. He has worked on both “sides” from building a home out of the ground to renovating historical homes and selling the finished dream home to his customers.
Doug has been part of several award winning teams. As part of a building and development company in Raleigh, North Carolina, they won multiple awards of Marketing and Developer of the Year. As Vice President as Richard Gaylord Homes, they won Builder of the Year for 2008 along with a gold award and perfect score in the Parade of Homes in Wake County.
Doug is glad he is back in the place he and his family call home, the fabulous Florida Keys. Doug and his wife Danielle returned back full-time in 2012. He looks forward to serving home buyers and sellers in the local area and believes they will appreciate his vast understanding of the housing market. Doug offers a professional, attention to detail style in a laid back manner along with a dash of humor.

Commercial Real Estate is alive and well in the Florida Keys. Availability includes office space, retail locations, restaurants, hotels, motels and land development. With over 45 years’ experience in selling both residential and commercial real estate I am happy to have settled in the Florida Keys.
My career started in the Kendall area and went on to include Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and Aventura during the height of its growth. I have had been involved in many different commercial transactions and projects over the years both as a sales associate and manager. I have had property in the Keys for 38 years and have lived permanently here since 1999 when I started managing and selling real estate here in the Upper Keys
My client base has included doctors, lawyers, architects, corporate ex ecutives and other professionals such as restaurateurs and hoteliers. Today a good portion of my business also comes from other REALTORS that I have worked with in the past who generously refer their commercial buyers and sellers to me the Florida Keys is outside their market area.
